Heat Transfer / Quenching
Heat Transfer Fluid in system units degrade over time due to thermal cracking and oxidation. Compromised oil can become a fire or explosion risk and therefore it is vital that heat transfer oils be tested regularly
The rate of fluid degradation can be influenced by :
- Improper operating procedure / condition
- Equipment layout/malfunction – damaged pumps or fouled heat exchangers
- Contamination (moisture and other material)
Quenching Oils
We can also offer cooling curve analysis for Mineral oil, Glycol and Aqueous Polymer based products.
