Fuel analysis is beneficial in helping to find out why a vehicle or machine has failed or is not running at its optimum condition. Blocked injectors, failed fuel pumps and poor running are all symptoms of a fuel that does not meet the required quality specification. This can be down to contamination, fuel quality or possible sabotage. Fuel analysis can determine detect problems which may have occurred since the fuel left the refinery gate. Fuel quality can have serious consequences in terms of blocked filters, stuck or worn injectors, poor spray patterns and atomisation.
